Denise Poole Trent Transformation
(Courtesy of Denis Bastien of Affordable Designs)

1. TRENT is thinking of getting a new face...

2. TRENT is in "hot water"

3. ... long enough to soften the vinyl...

4. TRENT is "losing his head"...

5. No need for this knob anymore...

6. The "coast" is clear.

7. How about one of Denise Poole's "blank" sculpts?

8. All packed to go to the UK ( Note: the TRENT SHOES in 7 colors are a gift for Denise! )

9. I would like my "new man" to be a mixture of these two...

10 - Trent's head has been transformed into a "bronze" of our favorite star.

11 - this is Denise's "master" head... which will be the basis of my "new man".

12 - Hair, eyes, mouth, chin have been modified to look like my "requested man".

13 - A new mold is made...

14 - Resin, powder, pigment, catalyst mixture...

15 - into the mold... tap the sides for 10 minutes to get rid of bubbles... and wait!

16 - this is the resulting cast...

17 - after fixing the surface, the face gets a few colours...

18 - the neck cavity is prepared for the new head...

19 - epoxy glued onto the body.

20 - so far... so GREAT!

21 - the new face must be scored for the add-ons to stick to it.

22 - ... not shaving cream.... MILLIPUT.

23 - then the MILLIPUT is sculpted to look like facial hair.

24 - more hair added to the beard and MILLIPUT is used to close the eyes a bit.

25 - another coat of flesh from head to torso.

26 - the torso being plastic, the paint will serve as a base for the "chest hair" that will be added later. The shinny glare will be corrected with a matte coat later on.

27 - the "new man" gets his first layer of colours... then is left alone for a while as Denise likes to distance herself from the preliminary results to be able to look at "him" with a fresh eye and see where the looks can be improved.

28 - basic colours, basic shapes... the magic will come later!

29 - the eyes are now BLUE, a little bit more chest hair... details, details...

30 - reshaping the eyes with paint, a bit of grey in the corner of the eyes, more grey to the hair, dark fleshtone to the nostrils, "lights" reflection to the eyes... then many coats of matte sealer.

31 - even though he has been sealed... Denise cannot stop improving her creation.  She adds tearducts, eyelashes, eye moisture, reflection on the lips, fixes the eyebrows, and adds some blush.

32 - Denise says the real challenge is in painting a man's face so that "he" looks good without looking like he is wearing makeup. She does is PERFECTLY!

33 - "his" first modeling job. He is wearing one of Denise's GREAT SHIRTS.

34 - and it is time to fly back to Canada where some new clothes are awaiting him. THANK YOU DENISE! (now I must think of a name)
