Hats and Purses
I am a great grandmother of two, living in
Tucson, Arizona. I started customizing fashion dolls after reading about
Kayandem's molded hair dolls in Jim Faraone's Fashion Doll Makeovers:
Book Two® I found myself inspired to try doing some. With a lot
of patience and practice I managed to come up with several new molded hair

After noticing an absence of hats for fashion
dolls I started making hats for Barbie® five years ago and set up my
hat boutique, "Chic by Dorothy® ," to showcase them. You can see some of

After many requests to make hats and purses
for the bigger dolls, Tyler®, Sydney®, and Gene®, I started making them
