"So you just left?!" Valentina looks at Shanelle in horror. "I wasn't
having fun. Jason left to get us drinks and was taking his sweet time
coming back, I got bored." "You are getting too spoiled my dear."
"Oh, I have mail."
"It's from our super agent, Morgan. She says that she needs to come
over right away."
"I don't feel like seeing her right now, Valentina. Can't we just
pretend we're not here?"
"Oh, snap out of it, Shan. She says she has a new exclusive assignment,
but we need to act quickly before it's snapped up. Apparantly, Kayah has
also been considered."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Write back to her at once!"
Morgan comes right over. "Ok, girls. Here's the deal. There is an
exclusive contract with some top designers who have chosen Egypt as the
place to shoot. I know you both wanted to go there, so I thought of you
right away. You need to pack now, the plane leaves tomorrow."
"Did you hear that Shan? Woohoo. We're going to Egypt." Valentina
rushes off.
"Shanelle, I really must speak with you. You have been in a slump
lately. Now I know that you've been having some personal problems, but put
them aside for goodnes' sakes." "It's just that I just bought this house,
and it's still being decorated, and..." "Let me put it this way, Shan.
Unless you smarten up, there will be no more Tiffany windows, or period
furnishings. Do I make myself clear?" "Yes, yes. I'll go pack." (Morgan's
outfit by Vince Nowell)
Before packing, Shanelle calls her decorator, Octavia. "Now, I know I
said that I'll be supervising all the purchases and such, but I have to go
out of town on assignment." "Shanelle, I'm much too busy to take care of
everything here." "I'll pay you double. I hope it's ready for when I come
back." Shanelle goes off to pack.
Octavia is steaming. "Who do those models think they are anyway? Then
again, double the salary, hmmm. Not too bad"
