Sydney Chase & Friends Episode 3 by LeeAnn Bernard
You are invited to shop with Sydney while she prepares for her big day!
The wedding is coming and there are so many decisions to be made.
Sydney has arrived at the bridal shop and is excited to get started
looking through the selection of dresses that Tyler sent. "This was so
nice of Tyler to arrange for me to have the shop all to myself. I
appreciate you keeping the shop closed Bridget so that I can take my time
in making my decisions. I can't wait to see the gowns that Tyler has sent
from Paris!"
The shop owner, Bridget, and close friend of Tyler and Sydney"s directs her to the rack where all the beautiful dresses have been carefully hung. "I thought it would be easier for you Sydney if we had the dresses displayed all in one place. We steamed them last evening and then hung them out after the shop had closed. I didn't want any of my customers to think these gowns were available for purchase". Sydney thanks Bridget for being so thoughtful and then starts looking through the gowns. "Oh my each one is so lovely! Tyler certainly outdid herself!"
Sydney walks over to one gown in particular that has
been displayed on a dress form. "This is lovely, she says to Bridget.
"Oh Sydney you always did have exquiste taste! Tyler sent that one as
her own special choice. But don't get attached to one dress to quickly.
There are so many to see and one dress in particular that I would love
to see you try on. It looks like it was made just for you." Sydney is
anxious to get started. As she heads for the dressing area she takes a
good look around the shop.
"Oh my goodness! In all my excitment over the dresses I totally overlooked all the accessories! I can't believe that Tyler arranged all of this! Flowers, shoes, jewelry! She has thought of everything. Bridget tells Sydney that Tyler wanted to spare no expense! "She said that she is thrilled that her best friend has found such a wonderful man and she wants this wedding to be like a fairy tale! It's her gift to you!"
Sydney becomes a little emotional. She wishes that Maddie and Fontanna
could have joined her today and she can't believe all the hard work
Tyler put into planning all of this for her. "She's such a wonderful
friend. I'm so disappointed that she won't be able to fly in for the
wedding. I understand that she has deadlines to meet...it just would
have been nice if she could have shared the day with Rafe and I. Sydney
sighs and wipes a tear from her eye then tells Bridget that she is ready
to get started trying on dresses! Stay Tuned!!
Bridget hands Sydney a dress and asks her to please try it on. "This is
one of my favorites Sydney and I just think it would be gorgeous on you!"
Sydney puts it on and comes out to show Bridget. "So, what do you think,
asks Sydney. "Wow, says Bridget. You look like a princess. Absolutely
gorgeous. You'll knock Rafe's socks off in that dress!" Sydney smiles and
says thank you.
Sydney walks over to the rack of dresses to see what she would like to try
on next. "They're all beautiful! How can I decide on just one! It has to
be just the right dress. I'm only doing this once, so it has to be
perfect!
Sydney returns to the dress that Tyler had specifically sent as her
choice. "This is a beautiful dress", comments Sydney. I think I'll try it
on and see how it fits. What do you think Bridget?" Bridget tells Sydney
that she should try them all on just to make sure that she gets the dress
she really wants. "You have to be comfortable and feel elegant Sydney.
This is your special day."
" Okay I think I've made up my mind Bridget. It was a difficult choice
because they were all so lovely, but I'm going with this one," Sydney
hands the dress that she has chosen to Bridget. "You have made a beautiful
choice. I can't wait to see you walking down the aisle in that dress."

Neely has arrived a few days early for Sydney's wedding. Instead of
staying in a hotel Devin has offered her shore house to Neely and she
happily has accepted the offer. Since so many of Sydney's and Neely's
friends will be in town Neely has decided to have a July 4th cookout.
Neely has the party catered and is just making sure that everything is set
out and prepared for her guests to arrive. After the cookout there will be
fireworks out over the water. It should be a fun time for everyone.
Unfortunately a reporter has discovered where Neely is staying. "Neely,
may I just have a moment of your time?"
Neely is startled by the reporter. "I'm sorry but you do realize that this
is private property and also a private party, says Neely. I'll give you
just a moment and then I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave. My guests
are expecting this to be a quiet party with no press. This is not a photo
opportunity for any of us, just a group of friends getting together for a
nice evening." The reporter tells Neely that he just has a few questions
and then will be on his way.
"Neely we know that you will be attending Sydney's wedding. Will you be
attending alone or do you have an escort? Neely replies, "Yes I do have a
date for this very happy occasion. He's very old and dear friend". "A
friend, the reporter says. "I've heard that your "date" will be none other
than Cole Osborne. Can you confirm or deny this rumor?" Neely looks
shocked. "I can't imagine where you would have heard a rumor like that. I
find it hard to believe that Mr. Osborne would dare to show his face at
this wedding. He certainly will not be my escort and I can't imagine
anyone that comes to the wedding bringing him. What an embarassment that
would be!"
"I'm afraid that is all the time I have for questions. There are a few
final preparations I need to see to before my guests start arriving. I
would like to wish you a safe and very happy July 4th. I'm sure that I
will be seeing you at the wedding this weekend." Stay tuned. (Neely's
